Our 5th grade teachers, Ms. Peña and Ms. Montenegro, at Henry B. Gonzalez Elementary brought learning to life with a fun and engaging hydration activity to get students pumped up for the STAAR! 🥤✨
Students created their own custom drinks by choosing flavors and adding candy, all while reviewing key concepts about mixtures and solutions. It was a sweet way to reconnect with what they’ve learned and stay energized for testing. Way to mix learning with fun—good luck on STAAR, 5th grade! 🎉

-Get a good night’s sleep before each testing day
-Eat a healthy breakfast
-Arrive at school on time
Most importantly, please encourage your child and remind them that we believe in them. A positive attitude and your support make a big difference.
